Celebrating New Leaders
Krissy Perkins
Currently Assistant Principal at Trapnell Elementary School, Krissy Perkins has been appointed as the principal of Trapnell. Mrs. Perkins earned her Doctorate of Education from USF; Master of Science in Education from USF; and her Bachelor of Science in Education from USF. When asked how she will prepare students for life, she said, "I will prepare our Trappers for life by ensuring that their emotional, social, physical, mental, and academic needs are met."
In her time away from work, Perkins enjoys reading, woodworking, crafting, baking, and spending time with friends and family. If she could spend time anywhere in the world, it would be in the Spanish Wells, Bahamas. Perkins feels, "It is the best place in the world to unplug, relax, and rejuvenate." Congratulations Krissy!
