Tampa, Fla. – (October 28, 2015) – The following are events happening in Hillsborough County Public Schools over the next few days:
Thursday, October 29, 2015 6:00 p.m.
Military Career Night - Tampa Bay Technical High School - Auditorium, 6410 Orient Road, Tampa
Juniors and seniors can learn about joining the armed services. We will highlight entrance requirements to the various branches of the military followed by a question and answer session. Students can attend three of six breakout sessions to learn about the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard and the Coast Guard.
Friday, October 30, 2015 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.
STEMtastic – Museum of Science & Industry, 4801 E Fowler Avenue, Tampa
Families are invited to experience STEM firsthand and learn about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs, enjoy hands-on activities, and explore the MOSI exhibits located on the second and third floor of the main building (including 3D Printing, Disasterville and The Amazing You). Admission is FREE. Food will also be available for purchase.

Iron Art – Blake High School – Gym, 1701 N. Boulevard, Tampa
Blake Visual Arts Booster Club presents the Iron Art contest. The contest will be judged by art Colleges. Join fellow artists for food, music, raffles and presentations by art colleges. Ticket available in advance for $5 or at the door for $8.

Hillsborough Choice Expo – Florida State Fairgrounds Florida Center, 4800 US Highway 301, Tampa
Join us to learn about Hillsborough County Public Schools’ award-winning Magnet, School Choice and Career & Technical programs in action. Families will learn about programs through hands-on activities and have the opportunity to speak with school administrators and district staff. Families can apply onsite for programs in the application center. This festive atmosphere will include music, entertainment, art displays, and food for purchase at food trucks. This event and parking are FREE.
