3430 - Employee Work Attendance/Absent Without Leave

Regular attendance is an essential function of all employees.   All employees who are absent from duty must be on approved leave.  Any employee who is absent from duty without approved leave may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.  Collective bargaining agreements should be referred to for specific leave requirements.
