 Meet Diane Sanchez-Aliakbarian

Currently the Assistant Principal of Mendenhall Elementary School, Ms. Aliakbarian has been appointed as the Principal of Crestwood Elementary, effective March 28, 2016. As a school leader, Ms. Aliakbarian prepares students for life by empowering all students to work their hardest in order to become productive and responsible citizens. When asked about her inspiration she shared, "My mom is my hero because she is my role model in life. She is my wonder women!" Congratulations Ms. Aliakbarian!

Meet Jaime Gerding

Currently Principal of Shore Magnet Elementary School, Ms. Gerding has been appointed as the Principal of Booker T. Washington Elementary School, effective March 21, 2016. "I believe that it starts with relationships.  I can't wait to meet the students, parents, and staff to learn about the rich history of the school and the desires and dreams of the community," said Ms. Gerding. She loves to travel and learn about new cultures.  Her favorite thing to do is to try new foods while away from home.  Sounds like an adventure! Congratulations Ms. Gerding!

Meet Dr. Adriane Sykes

Currently the Assistant Principal at Randall Middle School, Dr. Sykes has been appointed as the Supervisor of Community Education, Fees & Special Projects, effective March 14, 2016. As she embarks on this new journey, Dr. Sykes looks forward to continuing to serve as a role model for all students. Dr. Sykes loves going to church, traveling, and spending time with her family. When asked about her proudest moment, she shared, "The proudest moment in life was having my beautiful children and obtaining my Doctorate Degree." Congratulations Dr. Sykes!
